Hurter was moved back into a bulk relief role after making his first career start last time out, coming just a two-out Jarren Duran RBI single in the fifth inning away from holding the Red Sox off the board. It was the fourth time in six appearances this season that Hurter has tossed at least five innings with Sunday's performance representing the first time he's allowed as few as one run during those appearances.
