Questionable versus Hawks
Melton (knee) is questionable for Saturday's game against Atlanta.

Melton had only five points in Wednesday's loss to Boston. While he managed to turn things around offensively versus Detroit, the Warriors may not have him Saturday, the second of back-to-back outings. With Gary Payton II (knee) also in danger of missing this one, Pat Spencer, averaging 11.2 points, 5.2 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 1.3 steals in 12 starts throughout the campaign, could find himself back in the starting lineup. If anything, Spencer might see more work. The same would apply to Will Richard.

Melton closed with five points (2-9 FG, 1-6 3Pt), one rebound, two assists, one block and one steal in 23 minutes during Wednesday's 120-99 loss to the Celtics.
Analiz
Melton couldn't get anything going against the Celtics' No. 1-rated defense, and he's headed for another tough matchup Friday against the Pistons, who rank in the top three in defensive efficiency. That game will also be the first of a back-to-back set, so there's a chance Melton will get hit with a maintenance day.

Strong performance in win
Melton closed with 27 points (12-17 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 3-3 FT), five rebounds, four assists and two steals over 30 minutes in Monday's 125-117 victory over the Wizards.

After sitting out Sunday's loss to the Knicks for left knee injury management, Melton returned with force Monday, scoring 27 points in a winning effort. Impressively, the guard produced that scoring output without converting a three-pointer, an aberration from the 2.9 made threes he averaged in his first eight 20-plus point performances of the season. Melton has now eclipsed the 20-point mark in three of his past four appearances.

The 27-year-old is worth deploying in most fantasy leagues, as Melton has averaged 17.4 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 1.4 steals and 2.4 three-pointers in 25.4 minutes per game over his last nine contests.
