Chourio got the Brewers on the board with a three-run blast in the fifth and then came up big again in the 10th inning with a two-run triple that came off the bat at 110 MPH on a 103 MPH fastball from Justin Martinez. Chourio's knocked in eight runs over the last four games with four extra-base hits over that span. He's heating up significantly after a .194 batting average through his first nine games of the month. The 20-year-old NL rookie of the year candidate is slashing .276/.330/.478 with 21 homers, 77 RBI, 75 runs, 20 steals and a 37:104 BB:K in 522 plate appearances.

Chourio added to Milwaukee's lead with a two-run homer in the top of the eighth, giving the outfielder his 20th long ball of the season and his third so far in the month of September. It also marked the first time in his last eight games that Chourio didn't go down on strikes, though he's still batting just .200 (7-for-35) on the month with seven extra-base hits, four RBI, five runs and seven walks. Chourio has also homered in four of his last 11 contests.
