He led his team in points and rebounds on the way to his first double-double since Dec. 5 while reaching the 30-point threshold for the second time in his last three games. Siakam scored nine of his 22 points in the fourth quarter in an unsuccessful effort to hold off the Cavaliers' late surge. It wasn't the most efficient performance out of the veteran forward, but he has scored at least 20 points in each of his last six outings and has posted at least two steals in four of those games. It was the seventh time that Siakam has scored 30-plus points in a game this season, and it was his highest scoring output since Dec. 5 against the Bulls (36 points). Siakam led the Pacers in scoring and rebounds Friday, finishing one board shy of recording his seventh double-double of the season. He is averaging 23.5 points per game this season, his highest since the 2022-23 campaign with the Raptors, as the veteran forward has embraced a larger scoring role in the absence of Tyrese Haliburton (Achilles).
