Perdomo batted leadoff and went 2-for-5 with a run scored in Thursday's 3-2 loss to San Francisco.

Arizona manager Torey Lovullo recently oved Perdomo to leadoff against lefties -- he also batted second against a right-hander Wednesday -- but these placements are likely temporary until Ketel Marte (ankle) returns, which could be as soon as this weekend. Perdomo went 2-for-4 with a double, two RBI, one stolen base and two runs scored in Sunday's 14-3 win over the Dodgers.

Perdomo supplied a two-run double during the Diamondbacks' eight-run second inning. He had gone seven games without a multi-hit effort prior to Sunday, batting .136 (3-for-22) in that span. The shortstop is enjoying a breakout campaign, slashing .278/.345/.393 over 73 contests after missing over two months with a torn meniscus in his right knee early in the season.
