Bolte has shown more confidence on the basepaths lately, going 5-for-6 on steal attempts over his last 10 games. He's batting .294 (10-for-34) in that span. The rookie outfielder has hit leadoff in three straight games, all against right-handed pitchers, since Zack Gelof (hand) exited the lineup. Bolte is now batting .317 with an .814 OPS, 10 steals, two home runs, 12 RBI, 14 runs scored and six doubles over his first 40 major-league contests.

Bolte worked out of the leadoff spot since Zack Gelof (hand) was unavailable. This was just the second time Bolte has hit higher than fifth in the order. He has the speed for a leadoff role -- he's up to nine steals on 12 attempts this season -- and his 10 percent walk rate also makes him a good fit. The outfielder has hit .308 with an .809 OPS, two home runs, 10 RBI, 12 runs scored and six doubles over his first 38 MLB contests.

Bolte has logged three steals on four attempts over his last six games. He's just 5-for-19 (.263) at the plate in that span, though he's added a respectable 5:8 BB:K. For the season, the outfielder is batting .315 with an .814 OPS, eight steals, two home runs, 10 RBI, 11 runs scored and five doubles over 36 contests.
