Wallops third homer
Freeman went 2-for-4 with a home run, a double, a walk, two total runs and three total RBI against the Blue Jays in a 14-2 victory Monday.
Analyse
Freeman was one of seven Dodgers with multiple hits in the offensive explosion. His homer was a no-doubter that traveled an estimated 438 feet in the third inning. Freeman began the campaign by going 3-for-14 over his first four games. However, he's now in the midst of a six-game hitting streak during which he's batting .308 (8-for-26) with three home runs, three doubles, 10 RBI and six runs scored.

Piles up four RBI on Saturday
Freeman went 2-for-5 with two doubles and four RBI in Saturday's win over the Nationals.
Analyse
The All-Star first baseman has now totaled four bases in three straight games to begin April. Freeman has four extra-base hits over this span, collecting seven RBI as well. He'd gone a quiet 4-for-20 in March, so Freeman is certainly starting to pick things up this month.

Starting to find success at plate
Freeman went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run against Washington in a 13-6 win Friday.
Analyse
It's been a frustrating start to the season for Freeman, who is batting just .214 through seven games despite consistently hitting the ball hard and posting a .268 xBA. However, the star first baseman seems to be turning things around, as he's homered in two straight games and collected a hit in three consecutive contests. Freeman hasn't posted an OPS below .850 since the 2015 season, so the expectation should be for his current .731 mark to jump up considerably over the course of the long campaign.

Launches first homer
Freeman went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 4-1 loss to the Guardians.
Analyse
Freeman has had a slow start to the season, going 5-for-24 (.208) over his first six games. He's logged an extra-base hit in two of his last four contests, however, including his ninth-inning homer Wednesday to keep the Dodgers from getting shut out. The slow start among the Dodgers' top hitters is a little concerning, but the defending champions should be fine in the long run, and Freeman's move down to the cleanup spot versus right-handed pitchers should benefit his run production this year.
