Strong performance Sunday
Henderson delivered 17 points (5-13 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 6-8 FT), four rebounds, seven assists and two steals across 25 minutes in Sunday's 108-85 preseason win over the Kings.
Analysis
Henderson led the Trail Blazers in scoring, and even though his final shooting line wasn't encouraging, he still posted a solid all-around outing. Henderson will open the regular season as the Blazers' starting point guard, and a strong showing in the first few weeks of the campaign could boost his upside considerably due to Shaedon Sharpe's shoulder injury.

Struggles with shot Friday
Henderson scored 13 points (4-16 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 4-6 FT) while adding four rebounds and three assists in 30 minutes during Friday's 101-99 preseason loss to the Clippers.
Analysis
The third overall pick in the 2023 Draft also committed seven turnovers in a shaky start to his preseason. Henderson's rookie campaign didn't go as planned as he shot just 38.5 percent from the floor and 32.5 percent from beyond the arc, and while he finished the 2023-24 season by scoring in double digits in 16 straight games, the 20-year-old point guard's offense still appears to be a work in progress.
