Analysis
Grimes led all scorers in Monday's high-scoring affair en route to establishing a new career high with his 46 points. The 24-year-old swingman is handling extreme usage for the depleted 76ers at the moment, and he should continue to do so until Tyrese Maxey (back) re-enters the mix. Over his last five outings, Grimes has averaged 32.6 points, 5.4 rebounds, 4.8 assists, 2.4 steals, 1.0 blocks and 4.2 three-pointers in 34.6 minutes while shooting 42.9 percent from deep.

Grimes will miss his first outing with the 76ers due to an injury or illness since being traded to Philadelphia on Feb. 4. With the 24-year-old combo guard joining a litany of Sixers on the sideline, Jeff Dowtin, Ricky Council and Jalen Hood-Schifino are candidates for a bump in minutes. Grimes' next opportunity to feature will come Sunday against Dallas.

The 2021 first-round pick showed off his defensive chops with three steals, which is the third time he's reached that mark in his last five outings. Grimes has started since Feb. 12 due to the multitude of injuries on the 76ers, and over that span he has averaged 21.1 points on 51.4 percent shooting (including 39.8 percent from three on 6.9 3PA/G), 5.2 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 1.7 steals and 0.7 blocks over 32.9 minutes per game.
