Another double-double
Diabate provided 10 points (3-4 FG, 4-6 FT), 13 rebounds, three assists and one block over 33 minutes during Friday's 120-105 victory over the Magic.
Analysis
Diabate continues to make the most of the fact that he is basically the last healthy center left on the Hornets roster. He recorded his second straight double-double, grabbing at least 13 rebounds for the third straight game. He is a clear must-roster player right now, keeping in mind that when Ryan Kalkbrenner returns from his elbow injury, Diabate will likely go back to being an elite streaming option.

Strong performance in spot start
Diabate supplied 12 points (6-6 FG), 18 rebounds and one assist over 36 minutes during Tuesday's 126-109 win over the Wizards.
Analysis
Diabate made his third start of the regular season Tuesday due to the absences of Mason Plumlee (groin) and Ryan Kalkbrenner (elbow). Diabate made the most of his opportunity, finishing with a game-high plus-38 point differential while grabbing a career-high 18 boards en route to his seventh double-double of the season (and first since Nov. 23 against the Hawks). Charlotte's next game is on the road Friday against Orlando, which Diabate would likely start if Kalbrenner is unable to play.
