Monk is in jeopardy of missing his second straight contest for the Kings. Russell Westbrook (foot) has also been added to the injury report as questionable, while Zach LaVine (back) has been cleared to play. This is a new injury for Monk, who's in danger of not playing for the first time since Jan. 6. The veteran guard's role has fluctuated all year long, but he's logged at least 22 minutes in five consecutive games. If Monk is unavailable, more playing time would open up in the backcourt for Dennis Schroder and Nique Clifford.

Monk chipped in 19 points (7-11 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), one rebound, two assists, three blocks and one steal in 22 minutes off the bench during Sunday's 139-116 loss to the Pistons.
Analysis
The 27-year-old guard went to the locker room in the second quarter to get checked out for a leg injury, but he returned to the court midway through the third and wound up leading the Kings in scoring on the afternoon. Monk has scored at least 16 points in five straight games as a key piece of the second unit, averaging 18.6 points, 3.8 threes, 3.2 assists and 1.8 boards in 27.2 minutes.

Analysis
Monk checked out at the 1:03 mark in the second quarter and had a noticeable limp on his right leg while going to the locker room. He'll be evaluated by medical staff during halftime, and if he's unable to return, then Keon Ellis and Dennis Schroder would be in line for more minutes off the bench. Monk posted 10 points (4-6 FG, 2-3 3Pt), one assist and three blocks over 12 minutes in the first half prior to his exit.
