Drops 30 points in victory
Durant contributed 30 points (13-20 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 2-3 FT), six rebounds, five assists and one block across 34 minutes in Monday's 126-119 win over the Pacers.
Analysis
Durant turned in an efficient performance from the field and finished as Houston's leading scorer. The superstar has recorded 30 points in back-to-back outings, and he has now scored 22 or more in eight straight games. The veteran forward also finished second on the Rockets in assists, dishing out at least five for a third consecutive contest. Durant has been especially productive of late, averaging 26.2 points, 6.0 assists, 5.8 rebounds and 1.0 blocks per game over his last five outings.

Goes for 30 in win Saturday
Durant ended Saturday's 117-100 win over the Cavaliers with 30 points (11-17 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 6-7 FT), four rebounds and seven assists in 29 minutes.
Analysis
Durant turned back the clock with an efficient performance, and he carried the Rockets to a comfortable 17-point win over the Cavaliers. This was Durant's third game with 30 or more points across his last six outings, and it'd be fair to say he's going through his most prolific stretch of the campaign. Durant is also on a run of seven straight games with 20-plus points, averaging 27.0 points per game during that span.

Scores 25 in Christmas Day win
Durant closed with 25 points (8-14 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 5-5 FT), nine assists, four rebounds, two blocks and one steal over 33 minutes during Thursday's 119-96 win over the Lakers.
Analysis
Durant once again delivered on Christmas Day, pouring in an efficient 25 points to help fuel the Rockets' victory Thursday. Across 13 career Christmas appearances, he's averaging 28.2 points, 6.9 rebounds and 5.2 assists on 49.8 percent shooting and 40.5 percent from beyond the arc. At age 37 in his first season in Houston, Durant has shown few signs of decline as a scorer, recording 20-plus points in six straight games and in 22 of 26 appearances overall.

Hits for 22 points in loss
Durant registered 22 points (8-15 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 5-5 FT), five rebounds, one assist and two blocks across 29 minutes during Tuesday's 128-108 loss to the Clippers.
Analysis
Durant usually turns it up when he faces James Harden, but his solid result wasn't enough to contain the Clippers' scoring onslaught. Durant's totals could have been higher, but the Rockets elected to sit him for the entire fourth quarter after the Clippers pulled ahead to a 16-point lead after three quarters. He'll hope to bounce back Thursday, when the Rockets take their first crack at the Lakers on Christmas Day.
