Comes close to double-double
Suggs had 10 points (5-9 FG, 0-2 3Pt), three rebounds, nine assists, two blocks and two steals over 26 minutes during Tuesday's 126-109 win over the Wizards.
Analysis
Suggs finished just one assist away from a double-double, but there are some encouraging signs with the veteran floor general, even if he's not putting up the kind of scoring numbers he's used to. He has recorded 25-plus minutes in back-to-back starts, and that's huge since he hadn't done that since early February. Once Suggs shakes off the rust from his shot, he should see an uptick in his scoring numbers as well. Since returning to the hardwood three games ago, Suggs has made just four of his 16 three-pointers while shooting 31.3 percent from the floor.

Suggs closed with 14 points (4-17 FG, 4-13 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, four assists and one block over 26 minutes during Sunday's 106-92 loss to the Pistons.
Analysis
After logging just 13 minutes off the bench in Thursday's loss to Houston, Suggs returned to his typical spot in the starting lineup and doubled up on his playing time. The 2021 first-rounder has been in and out of the Orlando lineup all year long, but it seems like he's ready to handle his usual workload going forward. Over his last eight appearances, Suggs has averaged 12.0 points, 6.3 assists, 4.0 rebounds, 2.4 steals and 1.6 blocks in 26.2 minutes per game.

Analysis
Suggs came off the bench Thursday in his return from a three-game absence due to a back strain. The fifth-year guard struggled to get anything going and led the team with four turnovers while finishing with no assists and a minus-11 point differential. Suggs seemed to be out of rhythm, which led to him playing just three minutes in the second half while sitting on the bench for the entire fourth quarter. He should see his playing time increase in Sunday's game against the Pistons, though it's uncertain if Suggs will take back his spot in the starting five from Tristan da Silva.

The Magic evidently like the way the starting five has been playing together, so they'll elect to utilize Suggs off the bench in his return from a three-game absence. This will mark the first time this season that the 24-year-old has served in a bench role.
