However, despite appearing in Detroit's last two outings, he's now in jeopardy of missing this contest because of an illness. With Isaiah Stewart (calf) still on the shelf, Paul Reed would likely find himself back in the starting lineup if Duren can't suit up.

Duren struggled from the charity stripe but turned in a fairly efficient performance from the field and finished as Detroit's second-leading scorer. The star big man also grabbed a game-high mark in rebounds, securing his fifth double-double over his last six outings. Additionally, the 22-year-old recorded at least one block for a fifth straight game, logging two swats in three of them.

Analysis
Duren was cleared to play after missing Monday's game against the Thunder due to knee injury management. His return was the boost that the Pistons desperately needed, especially in the continued absence of Cade Cunningham (chest). It was Duren's eighth 30-plus-point performance of the season (and fourth in 10 games since March 13) and 17th game of at least two blocks. Across his last 10 outings, the All-Star center has averaged 25.0 points, 10.9 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 0.9 blocks over 31.2 minutes per game.
