The third-year forward set a new season scoring high as part of an impressive night by the Grizzlies' second unit, which produced 56 points to the starting five's 58. Jackson closed out January on a bit of a heater, scoring at least 12 points in four of the last five games and averaging 12.8 points, 4.6 boards, 2.6 assists, 1.0 threes and 1.2 combined blocks and steals in 24.0 minutes a contest.

Jackson closed with 12 points (5-8 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four rebounds, one assist, two blocks and one steal over 24 minutes during Wednesday's 112-97 loss to the Hornets.
Analysis
Jackson led the Grizzlies' bench in scoring for a third game in a row. He's building momentum as the team will be without leading scorer Ja Morant for the near future. He's averaging 10.8 points per game across January, several points higher than his season average (7.6).

Leads bench in scoring
Jackson supplied 14 points (6-16 FG, 0-6 3Pt, 2-3 FT), three rebounds, one assist and one steal across 27 minutes during Monday's 108-99 loss to the Rockets.
Analysis
Jackson has now scored 14 or more points in back-to-back games for the first time this season, even though he missed all six of his attempts from beyond the arc Monday. Memphis is battling a cast of injuries, but Jackson has been an elite fantasy presence since late December.
