Set to miss 3-to-4 weeks
Sabonis has been diagnosed with a partially torn meniscus in his left knee and is expected to be evaluated in 3-to-4 weeks, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
Analysis
Sabonis had already been ruled out for Thursday's matchup, and he's set to miss additional game action beyond Thursday while rehabbing from a partial tear in his meniscus. This opens the door for Drew Eubanks, Precious Achiuwa and Maxime Raynaud to receive more looks at center.

Another absence coming
Sabonis (knee) will not play Thursday against the Grizzlies.
Analysis
Sabonis will miss his second game in a row Thursday. This update comes from the official injury report, so there's no word on how long Sacramento's franchise player could miss. His next chance to play comes Saturday against Denver. In his absence, the Kings will likely rely on Drew Eubanks and Precious Achiuwa.

Won't play vs. Thunder
Sabonis (knee) is out for Wednesday's game against the Thunder.
Analysis
The superstar big man is grabbing a seat for the first leg of Sacramento's back-to-back set. Sabonis will be trying to suit up for Thursday's clash against the Grizzlies. Drew Eubanks and Precious Achiuwa are in position to share the center minutes Wednesday.

Double-double in loss to Spurs
Sabonis racked up 17 points (7-14 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 13 rebounds, five assists and three steals in 36 minutes during Sunday's 123-110 loss to San Antonio.
Analysis
The double-double was Sabonis' second straight and ninth in 11 games, putting the 29-year-old center third in the NBA in that category behind Nikola Jokic and Karl-Anthony Towns (11 each). Sabonis has dealt with some nagging injuries to begin the campaign, but in five games since returning to the lineup from a rib issue, he's averaged 20.4 points, 10.0 boards, 3.4 assists and 1.2 steals.

Available to play
Sabonis (ribs) is available for Sunday's game against the Spurs, Mark Haynes of The Sacramento Observer reports.
Analysis
Sabonis isn't 100 percent but will shed yet another questionable tag Sunday. He was dominant in his most recent performance Friday against the Timberwolves, posting a 34-point, 11-rebound double-double with three assists and one block in 39 minutes.

Questionable vs. Spurs
Sabonis is questionable for Sunday's game against the Spurs due to a left ribcage contusion.
Analysis
Sabonis is coming off a 34-point, 11-rebound performance against the Timberwolves in a 124-110 loss on Friday, marking his eighth double-double through 10 regular-season outings. The star big man has been key for the Kings despite their overall struggles, and not having him available would be critical against a rising Spurs team. If Sabonis isn't available, expect Drew Eubanks and Maxime Raynaud to see more minutes at center.

Posts another double-double
Sabonis provided 34 points (14-24 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 5-8 FT), 11 rebounds, three assists and one block across 39 minutes during Friday's 124-110 loss to Minnesota.
Analysis
Sabonis remains extremely consistent on both ends of the floor and recorded a double-double, his eighth of the season, after not reaching that feat in his previous two contests. The 34-point output was also a season-high mark for the big man, who managed to bounce back admirably after two below-average showings against the Nuggets and Hawks on a back-to-back set Nov. 11 and Nov. 12. Sabonis' scoring numbers might not be where they were last season, but his outstanding ability to rack up stats and tendency to gather double-doubles with ease should make him an appealing fantasy option across all slates until further notice.

Good to go
Sabonis (ribs) will play in Friday's game against the Timberwolves, Sean Cunningham of Fox 40 Sacramento reports.
Analysis
Sabonis is dealing with a lingering rib injury, but managed to participate in shootaround Friday morning. The star center has now been upgraded to available. After opening the season with seven consecutive double-doubles, Sabonis has failed to hit the milestone in back-to-back games. However, he played only 26 minutes in each contest, once because of foul trouble and once because of a blowout.
