Resting vs. Raptors
Hunter (rest) is out for Monday's game against the Raptors.
Analysis
Hunter is getting the night off after logging 29 minutes in Sunday's win over the Clippers. In all likelihood, the forward will be back in the lineup for Friday's tilt against the Hawks. Hunter's absence should free up enough playing time to get Dean Wade (knee) onto most streaming radars if he suits up, especially with Jarrett Allen (finger) missing another contest.

Scores 17 points in win
Hunter amassed 17 points (5-11 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 3-4 FT), four rebounds, four assists and one steal over 29 minutes during Sunday's 120-105 win over the Clippers.
Analysis
Darius Garland didn't have his best scoring performance in this win, so Hunter needed to step up again, and the veteran forward continues to make a big impact for the Cavaliers' offense. Hunter has scored in double digits in eight of his last nine outings, averaging 19.0 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 0.7 steals per game over that stretch.

Scores 20 points in win
Hunter closed with 20 points (8-16 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 1-1 FT), seven rebounds, one assist and two steals in 28 minutes during Friday's 120-109 victory over the Pacers.
Analysis
Hunter has scored at least 20 points in two straight games for the second time this season, and his longest streak in that regard is a three-game stretch between Nov. 8 and Nov. 12. The veteran wing has done a good job adjusting to a starting role with the Cavaliers after being a key reserve in 2024-25. Hunter is averaging 18.1 points, 4.7 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game since the beginning of November.

Totals 25 point in loss
Hunter racked up 25 points (6-11 FG, 5-8 3Pt, 8-8 FT), four rebounds and two assists in 31 minutes during Wednesday's 114-104 loss to the Rockets.
Analysis
Hunter played well after an unimpressive 11-point night Monday. He led the Cavaliers in scoring by catching fire from beyond the arc, setting a new season high in made triples. This marks the fifth time this year he's reached the 20-point threshold through 13 games.
