Strong showing in victory
Jenkins supplied 19 points (6-12 FG, 5-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds, nine assists and one steal across 33 minutes during Thursday's 129-108 win over New Orleans.
Analysis
Jenkins has supplied the Pistons with plenty of offensive firepower since entering the starting lineup. He's put up 19 or more points in four of five starts since stepping into the first unit for Cade Cunningham (chest), and he's done so by also finding his teammates for buckets. Jenkins is averaging 19.8 points, 3.6 rebounds and 8.0 assists during this five-game stretch.

Double-doubles in overtime loss
Jenkins totaled 19 points (6-13 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 6-8 FT), three rebounds, 10 assists and one steal over 45 minutes during Wednesday's 130-129 overtime loss to the Hawks.
Analysis
While Jenkins did do a nice job of handing out the dimes, he also set a new career high in turnovers and was responsible for nearly half of Detroit's giveaways in the one-point defeat. The Pistons weren't able to keep their win streak alive Wednesday, but they'll look to get things back on track Thursday against the Pelicans.

Career night vs. LAL
Jenkins finished Monday's 113-110 win over the Lakers with 30 points (11-18 FG, 4-5 3Pt, 4-4 FT), eight assists and four rebounds over 39 minutes.
Analysis
In his third straight start in the absence of Cade Cunningham (chest), Jenkins scored 10 of a career-high 30 points in the fourth quarter, highlighted by his mid-range jumper with 24.6 seconds left in the frame to put the Pistons up for good. After playing 3.3 minutes per game across seven NBA outings last year, Jenkins is thriving in an expanded role due to Cunningham's absence; the former had a similar stretch in mid-November, when he averaged 19.3 points, 8.8 assists, 3.0 rebounds, 1.8 threes and 1.5 steals over 34.5 minutes across four consecutive starts. That might be the kind of production to expect out of Jenkins for at least the next two weeks, or until Cunningham is cleared to return.
