Detroit recalled Lanier from the G League's Motor City Cruise on Tuesday.

Analysis

Lanier will return to the Pistons after he played 28 minutes Tuesday in the Cruise's 135-105 victory over the Memphis Hustle, finishing with 15 points (6-14 FG, 3-9 3Pt), two steals, one assist and one block. The rookie will likely be available for the Pistons' next game Thursday against the Wizards but could still find himself outside of the rotation.

Detroit recalled Lanier from the G League's Motor City Cruise on Monday.

Analysis

Lanier recorded 23 minutes in Sunday's 120-109 G League loss to the Memphis Hustle before being recalled, putting up seven points (3-10 FG, 0-6 3Pt, 1-1 FT), a rebound and an assist. He will likely continue to split time between the two clubs but is not expected to play much with the Pistons.
