Won't play Sunday
Beal is out for Sunday's game against the Kings due to rest.
Analysis
The final game of the season for the Suns won't have any of the members of their Big Three, as Devin Booker (calf) and Kevin Durant (ankle) are also out for this contest. Beal had a rough season in 2024-25, and there's already talk of him leaving the franchise in the offseason. He was limited to only 38 starts and 53 appearances, averaging 17.0 points, 3.7 assists and 3.3 rebounds per game. That was his worst scoring output since the 2014-15 campaign.

Drops 21 points in victory
Beal racked up 21 points (8-13 FG, 5-9 3Pt), four rebounds and six assists over 28 minutes during Friday's 117-98 win over the Spurs.
Analysis
Beal delivered in the decisive win, and the chances of Beal's return next year are likely due to his no-trade clause. The Suns are carrying a lot of cash with their star-studded lineup, and some heads are bound to roll after the dramatic eight-game skid that dashed the team's playoff hopes. Only time will tell if Beal elects to find another suitor, but injury issues harm his value.

Leads team with 25 points
Beal supplied 25 points (8-17 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 5-5 FT), one rebound, four assists and one steal in 39 minutes during Wednesday's 125-112 loss to the Thunder.
Analysis
Although Beal did his best to turn the tide, their eighth consecutive loss eliminated the Suns from playoff contention. Beal's season has been a mixed bag after appearing in only 52 games, and he's currently logging the second-worst seasonal scoring average of his 13-year career. Someone will have to answer for this disappointing result, and while coach Mike Budenholzer might lose his job, players like Beal could also be on the move.

Poor shooting performance Sunday
Beal closed with 16 points (8-19 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 0-2 FT), two rebounds, two assists, two blocks and four steals in 34 minutes during Sunday's 112-98 loss to New York.
Analysis
Devin Booker carried the Suns on offense, and while the Suns need Beal to be at his best, the veteran guard struggled once again and delivered a subpar showing. Not only was Beal disappointing from an efficiency perspective, as he needed 19 shots to score 16 points, but he also failed to make a meaningful impact in other categories. It's been only two games since Beal's return to action, but the early numbers aren't encouraging. In those two games, he's gone 8-for-26 from the field, 0-for-8 from three-point range and posted a 7:2 assist-to-turnover rate.
