Posts steal Saturday
Neto went 1-for-5 with a stolen base and a run scored in Saturday's 8-0 win over the Rays.
Analysis
Neto has hit safely in seven of his last eight games, but he's gone just 7-for-34 (.206) in that span. The shortstop is now hitting .228 with a .766 OPS, 14 home runs, 11 steals, 32 RBI, 48 runs scored, 14 doubles and a triple over 68 contests. Neto's low average is a product of his career-worst 31.4 percent strikeout rate, but he continues to be a strong contributor in counting stats.

Homers in third straight game
Neto went 1-for-4 with a solo home run and a walk in Monday's extra-inning loss to Houston.
Analysis
Neto came up big in the seventh inning, slugging a solo shot to give the Angels a 4-3 lead. The talented young shortstop has now gone deep in each of his past three games, though those are his only hits during that span, and they've been accompanied by seven strikeouts. That's pretty indicative of how the season has gone for Neto -- he's batting an uninspiring .231 with a 30.4 percent strikeout rate through 64 contests, yet 28 of his 58 hits have gone for extra bases (14 doubles, one triple and 13 homers). He also has 10 thefts and is one of 11 big-leaguers so far with double-digit long balls and steals.

Pops three-run homer Sunday
Neto went 1-for-6 with a three-run home run in Sunday's 13-5 victory over the Dodgers.
Analysis
Neto's lone hit was a loud one, as the shortstop uncorked a three-run homer to extend the Angels' lead in the seventh inning. It marked his second homer in as many games and 12th of the campaign. Overall, the 25-year-old is hitting .231 with a .778 OPS, 27 extra-base hits, 31 RBI, 44 runs and 10 stolen bases across 63 contests.
