Contract selected
The Mets selected Curry's contract from Triple-A Syracuse on Wednesday.
Analysis
Curry began the season in the Mexican League before signing with the Mets in May and being assigned to Syracuse, where he logged a 4.74 ERA and 32:12 K:BB over 49.1 innings. He'll give the Mets' bullpen some much-needed length after the club yielded 16 runs in Tuesday's loss to the Royals.
