Getting breather Saturday
Bogaerts isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against Colorado.
Analysis
Bogaerts' 0-for-4 performance in Friday's game snapped what had been a five-game hitting streak, during which he went 9-for-22 (.409) with a pair of homers, five RBI and four runs scored. In his absence, Jake Cronenworth will start at shortstop while Fernando Tatis makes his first career start at second base and Nick Castellanos covers right field.

Slugs walk-off grand slam
Bogaerts went 2-for-6 with a grand slam, an additional run scored and two stolen bases in a 7-3 extra-innings win over the Rockies on Thursday.
Analysis
Bogaerts had already put together a good fantasy line thanks to his two thefts when he came up to the plate with the bases loaded in a 3-3 tie in the bottom of the 12th inning. The veteran shortstop then launched a grand slam to left field to send San Diego home with the victory. Bogaerts started very slowly this season, posting a .308 OPS over his first eight games, but he's since turned things around, going 9-for-22 with two homers, five RBI and the pair of steals across his past five contests.

Swats first home run in loss
Bogaerts went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 7-1 loss to the Pirates.
Analysis
Bogaerts accounted for the Padres' offense in this one, as San Diego mustered three hits total. Bogaerts' first home run of the season came off Paul Skenes in the top of the seventh inning. The veteran shortstop is now slashing .233/.283/.349 with the one homer, four RBI, one run scored and 3:4 BB:K across 46 plate appearances.

Reaches four times Sunday
Bogaerts went 3-for-3 with a double and a walk in Sunday's 8-6 victory versus Boston.
Analysis
Though Bogaerts didn't score or knock in any runs, he at least helped prop up the batting average and OBP of fantasy teams by reaching in all four of his trips to the plate. That was a stark contract to his previous four games, during which Bogaerts went 0-for-16 with one walk. Even with Sunday's big performance, Bogaerts is slashing just .200/.243/.257 through nine contests. He's knocked in three runs but hasn't yet crossed the plate himself.
