Launches 10th homer of 2025

Guerrero went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 7-1 win over the White Sox.

Analysis

Guerrero extended the Blue Jays' lead to four runs in the seventh, when he took Aaron Civale deep to left-center field for a solo homer. It was Guerrero's 10th home run of the season, and the All-Star first baseman has recorded at least one RBI in six of his last nine games. Over that span, he has gone 11-for-34 (.324) with one steal, four doubles, two home runs and 10 RBI.

Drives in three in rout

Guerrero went 2-for-2 with three walks, a double and three RBI in Wednesday's win over the Diamondbacks.

Analysis

Arizona did its best to pitch around Guerrero, but the 26-year-old slugger still delivered a two-run double in the sixth inning and an RBI single in the seventh. It was his seventh multi-hit performance in 14 June contests, a stretch in which Guerrero is slashing .315/.403/.500 with seven doubles, one homer, two steals, eight runs and 11 RBI.

Goes yard Tuesday

Guerrero went 3-for-4 with an RBI double, a solo home run and an RBI single during Tuesday's 5-4 win over the Diamondbacks.

Analysis

Guerrero fell a triple short of the cycle Tuesday, collecting his first three-hit outing since May 9. The first baseman tagged Brandon Pfaadt for a solo homer in the third inning, marking Guerrero's ninth homer of the campaign. It's been a down year for Guerrero, who's slashing .281/.380/.434 in 313 plate appearances after slashing .323/.396/.544 in 2024. He's also on pace to fall short of his 2024 totals in home runs, doubles, RBI and runs scored.
