The 29-year-old slugger continued his rampage at the plate, launching a solo shot off Zac Thornton in the first inning and then tagging the rookie southpaw for a two-run blast in the fifth. In the process, Devers became just the third hitter in Giants history to hit six or more homers and draw seven or more walks in a six-game span -- an exclusive club whose other members are Willie Mays and Barry Bonds. Devers' hot streak has pushed him up to 35 homers on the season, three shy of his career high, and he needs nine more RBI to reach 100 for the fifth time.

Analysis
Devers accounted for nearly all of the Giants' offense, driving in two on a double in the third inning before adding a three-run blast in the eighth. It continued a torrid stretch for the 29-year-old, who's hit safely in 10 of his past 11 games while tallying seven home runs and 18 RBI. For the year, he's slashing .256/.338/.508 with 33 homers, 88 RBI and 83 runs scored across 607 plate appearances.

Analysis
Devers wasted no time getting the Giants on the board, taking the second pitch he saw from Bubba Chandler deep to center field for a 415-foot homer in the first inning. Devers has homered in three consecutive outings and is in the midst of a 10-game hitting streak, with six multi-hit games in that span. He's well within striking distance of matching the 35 home runs he recorded last year between the Red Sox and Giants.
