The star outfielder has started the month with hits in four straight games, and he's 6-for-12 overall in July with a home run, two stolen bases, three runs scored and three RBI. In June, Crow-Armstrong batted .381 with a 1.249 OPS, eight steals, 11 long balls, 20 RBI and 21 runs scored across 26 contests. The 24-year-old is headed toward his second straight All-Star Game appearance with a ton of momentum.

Analysis
Crow-Armstrong batted leadoff for the Cubs and enjoyed a great offensive performance as the team rolled to 17 hits and eight home runs overall. The star outfielder showed off his impressive combination of power and speed, and he's now up 19 home runs and 21 stolen bases for the season. In the past 33 games, he has a 1.218 OPS with 26 RBI and 28 runs scored. Crow-Armstrong is trending toward reaching the 30-30 plateau for the second straight year after blasting 31 home runs and swiping 35 bags during the 2025 regular season.

Analysis
Crow-Armstrong got in on a big day on offense by Chicago when he cranked a solo homer in the sixth inning. It seems like forever ago that the talented outfielder was hitting near the the bottom of the order and struggling to produce. He has hit first or second in the lineup every game since May 23 and is batting a staggering .357 with 12 homers, 24 RBI, 27 runs and eight stolen bases across 35 contests during that span to emerge as an NL MVP candidate. Tuesday's long ball did snap a seven-game homerless stretch for Crow-Armstrong, but he still reached base at a 42.9 percent clip during that span thanks to a 22.9 percent walk rate.

Crow-Armstrong seems to be seeing the ball well lately as he puts the finishing touches on an excellent month of baseball. In June, the star outfielder is batting .376 across 25 games, and he's contributed eight stolen bases, 10 home runs, 19 RBI and 19 runs scored. Crow-Armstrong has emerged as the catalyst of Chicago's offensive attack over the past two seasons, and he's showing no signs of slowing down.
