Analysis
Rodriguez recorded both of his steals in the seventh inning before being brought home on an RBI single from Randy Arozarena. It was the second time in the series and the third time this season that Rodriguez logged two steals. He's up to nine steals on the year and is behind the pace needed to match his total from 2025 (30). Rodriguez is slashing .258/.316/.457 with 13 home runs, 32 RBI and 36 runs scored over 291 plate appearances this season.

Analysis
The steals were Rodriguez's first since May 16, and he's up to seven on the season in nine attempts. The star center fielder has been doing more damage with his bat of late, and over his last 16 games he's slashing .284/.310/.627 with five doubles, six homers, nine runs and 12 RBI.

Rodriguez had gone 0-for-9 over the previous two games, his first set of consecutive hitless contests since May 14-15. He has homered four times over his last six games, driving in eight runs in that span.
