Analysis
Caballero will be on the bench for a second straight game and looks like he'll move into a utility role after the Yankees promoted top prospect George Lombard from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Tuesday to take over as their everyday shortstop. The 29-year-old Caballero has been a useful fantasy asset with 27 steals to go along with a career-high 12 home runs in 97 games, but he's been far less valuable from a real-life standpoint with a 95 wRC+ across 348 plate appearances.

Caballero went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run in Sunday's 2-1 win over the Cubs.
Analysis
Caballero supplied all of New York's offense, taking Colin Rea deep for a two-run homer in the third inning. The blast snapped an 18-game homer drought dating back to his two-homer performance July 6. The infielder has gotten off to a slow start in the second half, batting 9-for-43 (.209) over 13 games, but has found success on the basepaths with five stolen bases over that span. For the season, Caballero is slashing .241/.292/.384 with 11 home runs, 12 doubles, 40 RBI, 37 runs scored and 27 stolen bases across 96 games.

Caballero went 1-for-3 with a walk, one RBI and two stolen bases in Saturday's 5-2 loss to the Cubs.
Analysis
Caballero tied the game on an RBI single in the fifth inning and delivered his third multi-steal effort of the season. The 29-year-old has gone just 7-for-40 with three RBI over 12 games since the All-Star break, though he's still managed to swipe five bags during that stretch. On the year, he's slashing .240/.292/.375 with 10 homers, 38 RBI, 36 runs scored and 27 steals across 341 plate appearances.
