Romano allowed a run on one hit and three walks over two-thirds of an inning in Friday's 4-3 win over the Giants.
Analysis
Romano was brought in to close out the game after the Rockies took the lead in the eighth inning. He couldn't get the job done, and Juan Mejia ultimately got the final out after Romano left the bases loaded. This was the first run Romano has allowed in four outings with the Rockies. He has a 7.71 ERA, 2.14 WHIP and 17:10 K:BB through 11.2 innings between the Rockies and the Angels, but he's also collected six saves and a hold. Romano is in the mix as part of Colorado's convoluted closer committee -- he's earned two of the team's three most recent saves, but no reliever on the roster has more than four saves all season.

Analysis
Romano made it interesting but was able to wiggle out of his own jam to earn his second save in as many appearances. He's now firmly in the closer conversation for the Rockies, though the team's overall struggles make this a risky bullpen for fantasy managers to pursue save chances. Romano has a 7.36 ERA, 1.91 WHIP and 17:7 K:BB through 11 innings between the Rockies and Angels this season, though he's pitched three scoreless frames since joining Colorado's big-league roster.

Romano allowed a hit and struck out two over a scoreless inning to earn the save in Sunday's 7-6 win over the Giants.
Analysis
This was Romano's second appearance with the Rockies after his promotion Saturday. The veteran right-hander has five saves on the year -- he logged four for the Angels (and still leads that team in saves) before he was designated for assignment and released in late April. The Rockies' bullpen situation is far from settled, so Romano should have a chance to factor into the closer committee. He's posted an 8.10 ERA and 16:6 K:BB over 10 innings this season.
