Adell went 1-for-4 with a solo home run and two runs scored in Saturday's 7-0 win over the Cubs.
Analysis
Adell walked and scored a run in the second inning and then crushed a 431-foot home run off Drew Smyly in the fifth. The outfielder is hitting a miserable .185 on the season but the Angels are giving him ample opportunities to figure things out. On the bright side, he has contributed 14 home runs and 10 steals over 269 plate appearances.

Adell went 0-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base in Thursday's 5-0 loss to the Athletics.
Analysis
Adell's steal was his first since June 8 and his 10th of the season. The outfielder hit just .185 with a 4:20 BB:K over 21 contests between thefts, so he wasn't doing much to give himself an opportunity to make an impact with baserunning. Overall, he's at a .186/.250/.390 slash line with 13 home runs, 36 RBI, 32 runs scored, seven doubles and a triple over 260 plate appearances this year.

Adell went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in a loss to the Tigers on Sunday.
Analysis
The Angels were down 7-1 heading into the ninth frame before mounting a rally that fell just short. Adell brought the team to within one run with his two-out, two-run blast in the inning. The long ball snapped a 15-game homerless drought for the outfielder, and he had struggled mightily during that stretch, slashing .111/.180/.156. Despite the recent cold stretch, Adell has hung onto a near-everyday role, as he's started in right field in six of the Angels' past seven games.
