Analysis

Fry has slipped into a part-time role in September, going 2-for-10 over four games this month. He made an impact with an increasing rare start, giving the Guardians a 3-0 lead with a third-inning homer Monday. While it's been a solid year for Fry overall -- he's at a .260/.358/.448 slash line through 372 plate appearances -- he hasn't been able to hang onto an everyday role for a division-leading club.
