Three-hit performance in win
Schneemann went 3-for-5 with a double, two RBI and two runs scored in Monday's 10-2 victory over Kansas City.
Analysis
The 28-year-old posted his fourth three-hit game of the season in this contest and notched his 18th double. Schneemann entered Monday mired in a cold spell, slashing .094/.171/.219 in 35 plate appearances over his 10 previous games. He continues to play regularly in a strong-side platoon role, producing a .682 OPS with 11 homers, nine steals, 44 runs scored and 38 RBI across 115 total games.

Pops two-run double in win
Schneemann started at second base and went 2-for-3 with a walk, a double, two RBI and a run scored in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Rays. He was also caught stealing.
Analysis
Schneemann was integral to the win, which vaulted Cleveland above Tampa Bay in the postseason chase. He popped a two-run, bases-loaded double to left-center to put the Guardians on top in the fourth inning. He later led off the ninth with a single and scored the game-winning run. The offense came out of nowhere for Schneemann, who entered the contest on a 1-for-25 skid over the previous eight games.

Sitting against lefty opener
Schneemann is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Red Sox.
Analysis
Right-hander Dustin May is expected to cover the bulk of the innings for the Red Sox on Wednesday, but because lefty Brennan Bernardino is opening the game, the left-handed-hitting Schneemann will exit the lineup. Center fielder Angel Martinez will occupy Schneemann's usual spot in the two hole, but Schneemann or fellow left-handed hitter Nolan Jones could replace Martinez once May takes over for Boston.
