Fans eight in third win

Snell (3-3) picked up the win over the Brewers on Wednesday, allowing one run on four hits and two walks over five innings. He struck out eight.

Analysis

Both walks and three of the four hits against Snell in the contest came over the first three innings. The lefty would then allow just one batter to reach over his final two frames while generating 17 swinging strikes on the night. The win was Snell's first since Aug. 7 against Washington and he's now recorded eight or more strikeouts in eight of his last nine outings (excluding his previous start in which he was pulled after just one inning). He also hasn't allowed more than three runs in an outing since June 2 against the Yankees.
