The 26-year-old superstar came one board shy of his seventh triple-double of the season. Doncic has come flying out of the All-Star break after sitting out the four contests prior to the break with a hamstring strain, averaging 28.3 points, 9.7 assists, 6.7 rebounds, 4.7 threes, 1.0 steals and 1.0 blocks over the last three games.

Analisi
Doncic was poked in the eye during the first quarter and exited to the locker room before the start of the second. However, he returned to the bench shortly thereafter and appears to be good to go for the remainder of the contest after being cleared to check back in.

Doncic exited to the locker room after the first quarter of Tuesday's game against the Magic due to an apparent eye injury, Broderick Turner of the Los Angeles Times reports.
Analisi
Doncic was poked in the eye earlier in the quarter but was able to play all 12 minutes, during which he recorded 11 points, four rebounds, four assists and one steal. If the superstar isn't able to return, Luke Kennard and Jake LaRavia would be candidates to see increased playing time.

Analisi
Doncic did most of his damage early, scoring 18 of his team-high 25 points in the first half, though he wasn't able to help the Lakers mount a comeback in the second half. Still, he has put together two productive performances since returning from a four-game absence due to a left hamstring injury. Next up for Doncic and the Lakers is a home game against the Magic on Tuesday.

Doncic got the rest he needed over the All-Star break and returned to the starting lineup after missing four games leading into last weekend's festivities. Doncic's 38 points marked his highest point total since beating down the Bulls for 46 points in late January. The Lakers now have a clean injury report and are working with the intended starting lineup, which should play in Doncic's favor as the team makes its playoff push.
