Shamet has been ruled out for Sunday's regular-season finale against the Hornets due to right knee injury management.
Analisi
Shamet was in line for an expanded role Sunday due to the Knicks resting most of their key starters. Instead, the veteran wing will be sidelined to manage a lingering knee injury, but he should be available for the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs. Shamet will end the 2025-26 regular season averaging 9.3 points, 1.8 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 2.0 threes over 23.0 minutes while connecting on 39.2 percent of his three-point attempts (on 5.2 3PA/G). Jeremy Sochan, Jordan Clarkson and Miles McBride are candidates to see an uptick in playing time due to Shamet's absence.

Shamet closed with eight points (3-7 FG, 2-5 3Pt), one rebound, one assist and one steal in 28 minutes during Friday's 112-95 win over Toronto.
Analisi
Shamet saw extended playing time off the bench in the second half, coinciding with OG Anunoby's exit from the game due to a left ankle injury. Shamet was one of five Knicks players to finish with a point-differential of plus-11 or higher while leading the bench in minutes played. He could move into the Knicks' starting lineup if Anunoby were to miss time.

Shamet finished with one point (0-2 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-2 FT), one rebound and one assist in 21 minutes during Monday's 108-105 win over the Hawks.
Analisi
Shamet was barely visible, despite playing 21 minutes. While he has remained a somewhat consistent part of the rotation, Shamet has now scored in single digits in seven of his past nine games. At best, he can be streamed in for three-point production. However, as we have seen over the past two weeks, even that might be a stretch.
