Team-high 26 points not enough
Avdija logged 26 points (8-14 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 8-9 FT), seven rebounds, three assists and one steal over 37 minutes before fouling out of Sunday's 114-93 loss to the Spurs in Game 4 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.
Analisi
Avdija continues to do everything he can for the Trail Blazers, although, once again, fell short of victory. He has clearly been Portland's most consistent player, getting it done on both ends of the floor on a nightly basis. If the team has hopes of extending the series to a sixth game, Avdija is going to have to deliver another masterclass, this time on the road in San Antonio.

Just misses Game 3 double-double
Avdija notched 19 points (3-15 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 12-16 FT), six rebounds and nine assists in 37 minutes during Friday's 120-108 loss to the Spurs in Game 3 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.
Analisi
The 25-year-old forward salvaged a poor shooting night with big volume at the free-throw line while falling one dime short of his second double-double of the series. Through his first three career playoff games, Avdija is averaging 21.0 points, 6.7 boards, 5.7 assists, 1.3 threes and 1.0 combined steals-plus-blocks in 35.3 minutes, but he's shooting just 40.8 percent from the floor -- well below his regular-season mark of 46.2 percent.

Adds 14 points in victory
Avdija tallied 14 points (5-13 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 3-5 FT), four rebounds, three assists and one block across 30 minutes in Tuesday's 106-103 Game 2 win over the Spurs in the first round of the playoffs.
Analisi
Avdija wasn't very efficient and took a back seat to Scoot Henderson, who dropped 31 points in 38 minutes. Avdija still finished as Portland's third-leading scorer Tuesday and has totaled 44 points on 17-for-34 shooting from the field through two first-round matchups. The star forward and the Trail Blazers will now aim to take a 2-1 lead as the series shifts to Portland for Game 3 on Friday.

Big double-double in Game 1 loss
Avdija recorded 30 points (12-21 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 4-6 FT), 10 rebounds, five assists, one block and one steal across 39 minutes during Sunday's 111-98 loss to the Spurs in Game 1 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.
Analisi
The 25-year-old forward did everything he could to lead the Blazers to an upset, but only three of his teammates even scored in double digits. Avdija was on a tear to close out the regular season as well, and he's scored at least 25 points in eight straight games, averaging 30.0 points, 7.5 assists, 7.0 boards, 2.0 threes and 1.4 combined blocks and steals during that stretch while shooting 53.3 percent from the floor.
