Homers as part of three-hit day
Brown went 3-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Mariners.
Analisi
Brown got the A's back level with a solo home run in the fourth and then supplied a walk-off single in the ninth off Trent Thornton. Over his last six starts, Brown has multiple hits five times while racking up 10 RBI over that span. Since being brought back up to the majors July 11, he's slashing .320/.381/.557 with eight homers, 25 RBI, 15 runs and a 10:27 BB:K in 136 plate appearances.

Rips go-ahead triple in loss
Brown went 2-for-4 with an RBI triple, a walk and a run in an extra-inning loss to the Rangers on Sunday.
Analisi
Brown provided one of four multi-hit efforts on the afternoon for the Athletics, and his first triple of 2024 drove home Shea Langeliers in the 10th inning to snap a 2-2 tie. Brown now has multi-hit tallies in four consecutive starts, with Sunday's three-bagger his third extra-base hit in that stretch. His hot bat dates further back, however -- factoring in Sunday's production, the veteran outfielder boasts a .375 average across his last nine games.

Three more RBI in loss
Brown went 2-for-5 with three RBI from a pair of run-scoring singles in a loss to the Reds on Thursday.

Brown bookended the Athletics' offensive output in the wild loss, opening the scoring with a first-inning knock that plated Brent Rooker and closing it out by driving in Rooker and JJ Bleday in the ninth to get Oakland to the precipice of a successful rally. The Reds will be glad to be rid of Brown, who pummeled their pitching staff for four hits, including two home runs, and seven total RBI over the final two games of the series. It's been a resurgent month for Brown overall, as Thursday's production pushed his August slash line to a stellar .305/.379/.475 across 66 plate appearances.

Goes yard twice in win
Brown went 2-for-4 with two home runs and four RBI in Wednesday's 9-6 win over the Reds.

He took former teammate Sam Moll deep for a solo shot in the fourth inning before clubbing a game-winning, three-run homer off Emilio Pagan in the eighth. Brown snapped a 16-game power drought with the performance, but in 34 contests since returning to the majors just before the All-Star break, he's slashing an impressive .300/.369/.540 with seven home runs, 13 runs and 19 RBI. Tyler Soderstrom (wrist) is making progress in his recovery but isn't expected to be back in the lineup until at least mid-September, giving Brown more time to rack up production at Oakland's primary option at first base before he gets some competition for at-bats against right-handed pitching.
