Expected to return Monday
Stowers (hamstring) is expected to be activated from the 10-day injured list Monday, Isaac Azout of FishOnFirst.com reports.
Analisi
Stowers has been sidelined since suffering a left hamstring strain Aug. 9 against the Angels. The 28-year-old wasn't sent on a minor-league rehab assignment, so his first at-bat with Miami upon his activation will be his first since suffering the injury. Stowers had produced a .292 batting average with four home runs, 10 RBI and eight runs scored over his last 19 contests before being placed on the injured list.

In midst of running progression
Stowers (hamstring) is in the middle of a return-to-play running progression, Stephen Strom of Marlins Radio Network reports.
Analisi
Stowers suffered a left hamstring strain just over a week ago, so it's a good sign that he's already running again to test out his injured leg. He will be eligible for activation Friday, and while it seems unlikely Stowers will be ready to go on that day, he shouldn't have any trouble being reinstated from the 10-day injured list before the end of August.
