Dazzles in third win
Williams (3-7) earned the win over the Royals on Monday, allowing one run on one hit and two walks while striking out six batters over six innings.
Analisi
Williams had his best start of the season Monday against the Royals. His lone mistake came in the second inning when he walked Yuli Gurriel and then gave up an RBI double to Maikel Garcia. Williams would go on to retire the next 16 batters he faced before being replaced in the eighth. The seven innings pitched were a season high, and the third time in his career he's reached that mark. The 25-year-old will take a 4.55 ERA into his next start.

Saddled with seventh loss
Williams (2-7) took the loss Tuesday against the Royals, allowing two runs on three hits and two walks over five innings. He struck out six.
Analisi
The Cleveland right-hander's run of tough luck continues, as he suffered his third consecutive loss in this rain-shortened, 83-pitch outing. However, this start was better as the only blemish on Williams' night was a two-run homer allowed to Paul DeJong in the second inning. The 25-year-old has now pitched to a 4.99 ERA, 1.41 WHIP and 58:21 K:BB across 52.1 innings this season. He currently lines up to make his next appearance against the Pirates at home this weekend.
