Pritchard racked up three points (1-6 FG, 1-3 3Pt), three rebounds, four assists and two steals over 28 minutes during Wednesday's 103-84 loss to Denver.
Analyse
Pritchard shot under 20 percent from the floor for the second straight game, continuing what has been an up-and-down period over the past month. In 13 games during that time, he has averaged 19.0 points, 5.3 assists and 3.0 three-pointers in 32.5 minutes per contest. While his overall numbers have been fine, four of those games have resulted in him scoring no more than eight points.

Dominates off bench again
Pritchard finished Sunday's 111-89 win over the Lakers with 30 points (10-14 FG, 6-9 3Pt, 4-4 FT), eight assists and four rebounds over 38 minutes.
Analyse
Pritchard was held scoreless in the first quarter, but he quickly caught fire with in the second frame with 11 points, including a buzzer-beating three to extend the Celtics' halftime lead to 10 points. He helped Boston close things out with another 11 points in the fourth quarter and finished as the team's second-leading scorer behind Jaylen Brown (32 points). It was the fifth time this season that Pritchard scored at least 30 points in a game, and the sixth-year point guard has connected on six triples in back-to-back outings. He started in each of his first 48 appearances of the 2025-26 regular season before being moved to the bench Feb. 3 following the Celtics' trade of Anfernee Simons (wrist) to the Bulls in exchange for Nikola Vucevic. However, Pritchard hasn't lost a beat in a role familiar to him, as the 2024-25 6MOTY has scored at least 24 points in six of his last seven appearances.

Analyse
The 28-year-old guard led all scorers on the night as he picked up right where he left off prior to the All-Star break. Pritchard has scored at least 24 points in five of his last six games since shifting to the second unit Feb. 3, averaging 22.5 points, 6.2 assists, 3.5 boards, 3.5 threes and 1.0 steals during that span while shooting 52.0 percent from the floor and 42.9 percent from beyond the arc.
