To run on Alter G treadmill
Trout (knee) will run on an anti-gravity treadmill Monday, Erica Weston of Bally Sports West reports.
Analyse
Trout has been ramping up other baseball activities lately and a running progression appears imminent. There is no timetable for the outfielder's return from the 10-day injured list, but he's making progress as he works his way back from a bone bruise in his left knee. Trout (knee) said Saturday that he has been swinging a bat and is aiming to begin a running progression early next week, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.

Trout landed on the 10-day injured list May 2 due to a bone bruise in his twice surgically repaired left knee, but the veteran outfielder relayed that the pain in his knee has since dissipated, per Greg Beacham of The Associated Press. The veteran outfielder is still dealing with some soreness, but it won't prevent him from trying to run again during the upcoming week. The Angels will assess Trout's condition once he starts running before getting a better idea regarding when he might be ready to return from the IL Before being shut down with the injury, Trout slashed .179/.264/.462 with two stolen bases, nine home runs and 18 RBI in 121 plate appearances.
