Moves to 60-day IL
The Angels transferred Cisnero (shoulder) to the 60-day injured list Wednesday.
Analyse
Cisnero landed on the injured list April 28 due to inflammation in his right shoulder, and his move to the 60-day IL will require him to be sidelined until at least June 27. The 35-year-old right-hander began throwing off a mound May 19, but the Angels have not yet indicated when they plan on having him face live hitters. Michael Stefanic (quad) was reinstated from the 60-day IL in a corresponding move to fill Cisnero's roster spot.

Cisnero (shoulder) started a throwing progression May 9 and advanced to throwing off a mound May 19, per MLB.com.
Analyse
Cisnero landed on the injured list with right shoulder inflammation April 28. Angels manager Ron Washington said at the time that the injury isn't considered serious, and the righty reliever has been making steady progress toward a return. Cisnero struggled prior to being placed on the IL, posting a 7.07 ERA, 1.71 WHIP and 16:7 K:BB through 14 innings.
