Back from paternity leave
The Astros activated Meyers from the paternity list Thursday, Matt Kawahara of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Analyse
Meyers missed the previous three games while welcoming a new addition to the family. While on the active roster, Meyers will not be with the Astros for their series finale in Cincinnati on Thursday. He will rejoin them when they return home Friday.

Analyse
Meyers will be away from the Astros for a minimum of one game and a maximum of three while he welcomes a new addition to his family. In all likelihood, he'll skip out on the entire three-game series in Cincinnati before being activated ahead of Friday's series opener versus the Diamondbacks in Houston. The Astros recalled Chas McCormick from Triple-A Sugar Land to provide an additional option in the outfield while Meyers is away.
