Could return next week
Nuggets head coach David Adelman said Wednesday that Watson (hamstring) could be cleared to return to action at some point next week, Vic Lombardi of Altitude Sports reports.
Análisis
Given Adelman's comments, Watson -- who had already been ruled out for Wednesday's game against Houston -- will likely be sidelined for at least two more games beyond that. According to Adelman, Watson has healed from the right hamstring strain that has kept him out of action since Feb. 7, and the forward's next step is to get reconditioned. Watson had been in the midst of a breakout season prior to getting hurt, appearing in 49 games and shooting 49.6 percent from the field and 41.7 percent from downtown while averaging 14.9 points, 4.9 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.5 triples, 1.2 blocks and 1.0 steals in 30.7 minutes.

Ruled out for Wednesday
Watson (hamstring) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Rockets.
Análisis
Watson hasn't played since Feb. 4 due to a right hamstring strain and is without a clear timetable for a return. He's expected to be re-evaluated soon, though the 23-year-old forward should be considered doubtful for Thursday's game in San Antonio until Denver offers an update on his status.

Won't play Monday
Watson (hamstring) is out for Monday's game against the Thunder.
Análisis
Watson has not appeared in a game since Feb. 4 due to a right hamstring strain, and he will remain out for Monday's contest. The fourth-year forward has recently been ramping up his basketball activities, but there's still no clear timetable for his return. His next opportunity to suit up comes Wednesday against the Rockets.
