Busy on basepaths in loss
Turner went 1-for-2 with two walks, a run scored and two stolen bases in Wednesday's 9-4 loss to the Reds.
Análisis
Both steals came off the battery of lefty Andrew Abbott and catcher P.J. Higgins, but the rest of the Phillies lineup couldn't do much with the opportunities Turner created. The shortstop has hit safely in seven straight games, batting .267 (8-for-30) and eight runs while collecting four of his nine steals on the season during that stretch.

Belts fifth homer
Turner went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 4-1 loss to the Reds.
Análisis
The start shortstop spoiled Chase Burns' shutout bid by taking the right-hander deep in the third inning. Turner snapped a 16-game power drought with the blast and he's hit safely in six straight games, although he's batting just .250 (7-for-28) during that stretch. On the season, he's slashing a disappointing .236/.285/.357 with five homers, seven steals, 16 RBI and 31 runs in 48 contests.

Swipes sixth bag Friday
Turner went 1-for-6 with a stolen base and two runs scored in Friday's 11-9 extra-inning win over the Pirates.
Análisis
Turner battled an illness earlier this week, but he's back in action for the Phillies. The 32-year-old shortstop has been a big disappointment at the plate so far, batting just .231 with four home runs, seven doubles, 13 RBI and 13 walks over 182 at-bats, but he does have 27 runs scored and six stolen bases. As long as he remains in the leadoff spot for Philadelphia, Turner should continue to have plenty of run-scoring upside going forward.
