Diagnosed with Grade 2 strain
Tauchman has been diagnosed with a Grade 2 right hamstring strain and is expected to be sidelined for a couple weeks, Mike McGraw of the Chicago Daily Herald reports.
Análisis
Tauchman was placed on the 10-day injured list Thursday, but he could be looking at a bit of a longer stay on the injured list. It's the second time he's pulled his right hamstring in the last month. Austin Slater, Brooks Baldwin, Joshua Palacios and Michael Taylor are expected to absorb the extra playing time in the outfield with Tauchman sidelined.

Tauchman opened the season on the shelf after straining his right hamstring late in spring training, but he was activated Sunday and had started in right field in each of the White Sox's last three games. However, Tauchman aggravated the injury while rounding third base in the ninth inning of Wednesday's 3-2 loss to the Guardians, ultimately getting tagged out at the plate for what would have been a game-tying run. Tauchman was activated from the injured list Sunday and made his season debut while serving as the leadoff hitter for the White Sox. He reached base on a single in his first plate appearance, and he also came around to score after a single by Andrew Vaughn.
