Miller allowed a hit and a walk and struck out two over a scoreless inning to earn the save in Monday's 1-0 win over Atlanta.

Miller flirted with danger a bit, but he got the job done while protecting a thin lead. He's converted two saves in as many outings since returning from the bereavement list. Miller secured the save Saturday against the Rangers, allowing one unearned run on one hit and no walks in the 10th inning. He struck out two.

Miller allowed the automatic runner in extra innings to score, but he held on for the save Saturday and hasn't given up an earned run in his past five outings. The right-hander continues to put together a spectacular campaign, producing a 0.87 ERA, 0.81 WHIP and 61:12 K:BB over 31 frames. Miller is a flawless 20-for-20 on save opportunities, leading the National League in the category.

Reinstated from bereavement list
The Padres reinstated Miller from the Bereavement/Family Medical Leave List Friday.
Análisis
Miller will make his return to San Diego after being out since Monday. The Padres optioned Bradgley Rodriguez to the Arizona Complex League in order to make room for Miller on the active roster. Miller has been lights-out this campaign with a 0.90 ERA, 0.80 WHIP and 59:12 K:BB through 30 innings of work.
