Doubles twice in three-hit effort
Stowers went 3-for-5 with two doubles and two runs scored in Friday's 9-4 win over the Giants.
Análisis
Stowers has gone 6-for-15 (.400) with three doubles and two walks over four games since he made his season debut after being shelved for nearly a month due to a hamstring strain. He's predictably settled into a starting job in left field and should be a near-everyday player as long as he's healthy. Stowers broke out with 25 homers and a .288/.368/.544 slash line over 117 contests in 2025, though his power swing has yet to fully show up this year.

Taking seat for day game
Stowers is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Cardinals.
Análisis
Stowers missed the first three weeks of the season due to a right hamstring strain before coming off the injured list Sunday and starting in each of the Marlins' subsequent three games while going 3-for-10 with a double, two walks and two runs. The 28-year-old hasn't suffered any reported setbacks since returning, so his absence Wednesday looks to be the result of him getting rest for a day game after a night game.

Two hits in season debut
Stowers went 2-for-3 with a double in Sunday's win over the Brewers.
Análisis
Getting the start in left field and batting cleanup in his season debut, Stowers also reached base on a hit by pitch. The 28-year-old outfielder is looking to make up for lost time after a breakout 2025 in which he slashed .288/.368/.544 with 25 homers in 117 contests, and he should be a fixture in the heart of the order for the Marlins.

Back from injured list
The Marlins reinstated Stowers (hamstring) from the 10-day injured list Sunday. He'll start in left field and bat cleanup in the Marlins' series finale versus the Brewers.
Análisis
Stowers strained his hamstring during the closing days of spring training after dealing with a similar injury earlier in camp, but he'll make his 2026 MLB debut Sunday after completing a five-game minor-league rehab assignment. The 28-year-old is expected to see the bulk of his reps in left field and could also get some looks at first base. Regardless of where he's playing in the field, he should have plenty of RBI opportunities batting in the heart of Miami's lineup.

Returning Sunday
Manager Clayton McCullough said Saturday that Stowers (hamstring) will return from the injured list Sunday, Kevin Barral of FishonFirst.com reports.
Análisis
After playing five rehab games at Triple-A Jacksonville, Stowers returned to Miami on Saturday to be evaluated by the team. Now that he's been given a clean bill of health, the 28-year-old will officially make his season debut in Sunday's series finale against Milwaukee. He will reclaim his place as Miami's primary left fielder, though the Marlins also plan to give him a few reps at first base.
