Kornet won't start Wednesday's game against the Bulls.
Analysis
Kornet picked up a spot start Monday due to Derrick White (leg) and Al Horford (toe) being sidelined. Although Horford remains out Wednesday, White is healthy and will take Kornet's spot in the first unit.

Impresses as starter
Kornet totaled 18 points (8-9 FG, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal across 33 minutes during Monday's 114-112 loss to the Rockets.
Analysis
This was a terrific showing for Kornet as he picked up the start due to Derrick White (leg) being unavailable. Al Horford (toe) was expected to play but was ultimately a late scratch that went unreported by Boston. Kornet has fared well as a fill-in starter this season, averaging 11.2 points, 4.7 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 2.3 blocks in six games.

Analysis
The big man will receive his sixth start of the season with Al Horford coming off the bench Monday. Kornet has averaged 9.8 points, 4.2 rebounds, 2.6 blocks, 2.0 assists and 1.4 steals in 28.4 minutes per game over his five appearances in the starting lineup thus far.

Grabs nine rebounds in win
Kornet posted two points (1-4 FG), nine rebounds, five assists and two blocks across 17 minutes during Saturday's 122-107 win over Dallas.
Analysis
Kornet grabbed a team-high nine rebounds, serving as an above-average backup center. Although he remains clearly behind Kristaps Porzingis and Al Horford, Kornet has been able to make the most of his opportunities, typically as a result of either rest or injury to those around him. He should be able to maintain a 15-minute role moving forward, even more when Porzingis or Horford are sidelined.

After starting Wednesday's win against the Clippers, Kornet will assume his usual role off the bench. Boston is getting key players back for this matchup. The 29-year-old big man had a forgettable performance Wednesday, finishing with two points, two rebounds, an assist, a steal and a block.
