Won't suit up Sunday
Kornet (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Nets, Paul Garcia of ProjectSpurs.com reports.
Analysis
Kornet will miss the front end of San Antonio's back-to-back set due to a sprained left ankle, and his next opportunity to play will come Monday against the Raptors. With the big man joining Kelly Olynyk (heel) on the sideline, Bismack Biyombo is likely to see a bump in minutes behind Victor Wembanyama.

Gives timely double-double
Kornet racked up 14 points (6-9 FG, 2-4 FT), 12 rebounds, four assists and one block over 35 minutes during Friday's 120-116 overtime victory over the Pelicans.
Analysis
Kornet saw a vast increase in minutes and used them to turn in his first double-double of the season. He was brought in during the offseason from Boston and stepped in after Victor Wembanyama fouled out in overtime. The four assists were a pleasant sign as he adjusts to new teammates. Kornet has a chance to have another strong effort Sunday against Brooklyn.
