Out at least two weeks
The Raptors announced Tuesday that Dick has been diagnosed with a hyperextended right knee resulting in bone bruises, NBA reporter Marc Stein reports. Dick will return to Toronto to begin rehabbing and will be re-evaluated in two weeks.
Analysis
In Sunday's 104-102 win over the Magic, Dick played just 16 minutes game after being forced out of the game late in the second quarter, when he was involved in a collision with Orlando's Cole Anthony that also resulted in teammate RJ Barrett falling on Dick's leg. Though follow-up testing cleared Dick of any structural damage to his knee, he'll still miss at least two weeks, and the Raptors won't be incentivized to rush him back to the court after that while the team remains out of the mix for a playoff spot. In Dick's absence, Ja'Kobe Walter will likely move into the starting five, but Jamal Shead and A.J. Lawson are also candidates to take on increased roles in the backcourt.

Listed out for Tuesday
Dick (knee) will not play Tuesday against the Magic, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
Analysis
Dick suffered a hyperextension and a sit-bone contusion in his right knee during the second quarter of Sunday's game, and it's not a surprise that he won't be suiting up for the rematch against Orlando. An official timetable isn't known yet, but Dick's next chance to play comes Friday against Utah. Guys like Ja'Kobe Walter and Jamal Shead could see an uptick in minutes in the meantime.

Suffers hyperextended knee Sunday
Raptors head coach Darko Rajakovic said after Sunday's 104-102 win over the Magic that Dick suffered a hyperextension and a sit-bone contusion in his right knee during the second quarter of the game, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
Analysis
Dick totaled two points (1-4 FG, 0-1 3Pt) and one rebound in 16 minutes before checking out of the game for good with 42 seconds remaining in the second quarter, shortly after he sustained multiple injuries in a collision with the Magic's Cole Anthony that simultaneously resulted in teammate RJ Barrett falling on Dick's leg. According to Rajakovic, Dick passed all concussion testing administered after the game, but he suffered a split lip in addition to the knee injury. A timeline for Dick's return has yet to be provided, but the second-year guard seems more likely than not to sit out Tuesday's rematch with the Magic.

Won't return Sunday vs. Orlando
Dick has been ruled out for the rest of Sunday's game against the Magic due to apparent head and knee injuries, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
Analysis
Dick suffered multiple injuries late in the second quarter, when he collided with RJ Barrett while the latter was driving to the basket. Dick was able to walk off under his own power to the locker room, but he will not see the floor for the rest of Sunday's game as he continues to be evaluated by medical staff. Ja'Kobe Walter entered the Raptors' starting lineup for the start of the second half in place of Dick.

Heads to locker room Sunday
Dick (head/knee) went to the locker room late in the second quarter of Sunday's game against the Magic, Ian Finlayson of Sportsnet reports.
Analysis
Dick's right knee appeared to hyperextend during a collision with teammate RJ Barrett, and the former also looked to have suffered a head injury while falling to the ground. Dick spent several minutes on the floor while being checked on by trainers, but he was eventually able to walk off the floor under his own power and into the locker room. Ja'Kobe Walter and Jamal Shead would stand to see increased minutes off the bench if Dick is not cleared to return for the second half.

Flirts with double-double in loss
Dick scored 13 points (4-11 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 2-4 FT), grabbed nine rebounds and dished one assist in 35 minutes of action during Friday's 125-115 overtime loss to the Bulls.
Analysis
The sophomore wing has struggled from the field of late, shooting just 37.0 percent since the All-Star break, but has made up for it from deep, hitting threes at a 41.4 percent clip in the same span. He's also been more active on the glass than ever before in his career, logging his first double-digit rebounding performance earlier in the week before grabbing nine boards Friday as he fell just one rebound short of his first career double-double. He'll look to improve his efficiency during Sunday's outing against the Magic.
